Hello! My name is Jim Harris and this year I took command of the software team for Nemesis. On the software team, we program the robot using the LabView software, which is a graphical programming language developed by National Instruments. I am a senior and this is my third year on the team. I joined in order to learn more about programming and to work with robots, which has been very interesting. During my Nemesis career, I have learned a lot about other languages aside from LabView, including C, C++. Java, JavaScript, PHP, and Python (I also know HTML5 and CSS, but those don’t really count). Over the years on the team, I’ve learned so much and have made a lot of friends, and I’m looking forward to another successful season! In my free time, I like to watch television with family or play some video games with friends. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the windows partition from my computer during a botched linux dual boot install, so I haven’t been playing as many video games lately. I do wreck at Terraria though, so if anyone decides that MineCraft is really bad in comparison (which it is) and decides to come and play once I get a recovery disk at some point maybe, or possibly install Wine and figure out how to run Terraria on Linux... you better watch out! (If you happen to play a game with me and agree to PvP).
