Nemesis team members innovate and problem-solve using engineering principles to construct a robot from scratch during an intensive six-week period. The team runs like a company: while the build team works hard to produce a well-engineered robot, the business team works hard to raise and manage the team’s funds. 

The cost of parts, machine maintenance, team transportation, and outreach initiatives sums up to a large expense, pushing the team to work in several ways to raise money. We host Robotics Discovery Days, sell concessions at competitions at our high school, apply for corporate grants, and are eligible for corporate donation matching. Nemesis has frequently been a high-achieving team, qualifying for competitions in Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, and Houston, Texas. However, these opportunities come at a significant financial cost. Your support through sponsorship ensures that each student can afford to travel to witness the culmination of their efforts, while continuing to develop skills that they will use for the rest of their life.
